Thank you folks for bringing this to our attention. As you have guessed it is unfortunately not in this pack as indicated in the Decorations UI. As Screaming Ziva guessed, due to this error we will be placing the Slot Machine: Smuggler’s Gambit on the Binary Star Realty reputation vendor for 1 credit at some point in the future. I do not have exact timing on when this will happen but as soon as I know specifics I will let you know. Just like the Republic Voss Embassy Sign, this item will only be available through the vendor for a limited time.

  • This slot machine is SO much easier to predict than the Nightlife event ones! After playing 4 stacks of 99 chips I’ve noticed a pattern to the wins. Visually, nearly every time I win a rep trophy or a CM certificate it happens when the two needles on the wheel line up, whereas with the Nightlife machines visual cues were meaningless.
  • In the recent cartel pack, SWTOR introduced playable slot machines (Contraband Slot Machines) as decorations for Strongholds. Using tokens bought with credits, players could play them and win some prizes. These ranged from reputation items to Jawa Junk ( crafting material tokens ). These housing items proved to be very popular.

We know that there have been many questions about the Contraband Slot Machine and its intent. Here are a few notes on it:

  • The Contraband Slot Machine is not bugged.
  • It is 100% not an exploit to use the Slot Machine.
  • If you feel the desire to sell access to your Stronghold, that’s totally up to you. As a reminder, do not scam people as that is against ToS.
  • We added the Slot Machine as a fun idea based on the positive feedback from the Nightlife event, so spend those credits to your heart’s content!
